Legislatures Consider Notice and Right to Cure Bills

As of February 5, 2003, the following Notice & Right to Cure bills have been introduced at the state level.  Link below to view the full text of the bill.

• Idaho House Bill 133 
• Indiana Senate Bill 451
• Kentucky House Bill 289
• Mississippi House Bill 1194
• New Mexico Senate Bill 445 
• Oklahoma House Bill 1334/Senate Bill 487 (companion legislation)
• Oregon House Bill 2389
• Oregon House Bill 2223 (relates to claims before the Construction Contractors Board)
• Washington Senate Bill 5536 (relates specifically to condominiums)
• West Virginia House Bill 2553
• West Virginia Senate Bill 440

It is expected that similar legislation will be introduced in the following states in the near future: Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
