  Macaulay to Head NAHB’s State & Local Operations Department
Alastair Macaulay has recently been tapped to lead NAHB’s State & Local Operations Department and will oversee the association’s state and local government relations, political operations and industry relations efforts. In this role, he will work closely with state and local associations to manage public policy issues, implement campaign strategies and develop grassroots and political programs.

Previously, Macaulay headed up NAHB’s political operations efforts. His experience also includes grassroots and fundraising for Associated Business Contractors and campaign work in California, most notably managing a successful 1996 state senate campaign. Alastair has a master’s degree in political management from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Macaulay reports to Clayton Traylor, who oversees NAHB’s Construction Codes & Standards/State & Local Operations Area.  [ return to top ]
